Piano Recital
December 9, 2018 was very special day for Sister Geraldine and her little student Antoinnette. After some months of training, 8-year old Antoinnette performed her piano recital very well at the presence of the Sisters, Fathers, relatives, and other people.
Organ and Piano Recital
On Sunday, April 2, 2017, our Motherhouse resounded with beautiful music. The Sisters and 40 guests, who joined them, were witnesses of an ORGAN AND PIANO RECITAL. Two of Sr. Geraldine’s piano students, one of these who plays organ also, are really talented musicians.
Sister Geraldine’s special love and gift is music. She has generously and whole-heartedly continued to share these gifts with her students, Nathan and Antoinette. Music for her is the song of the soul. We thank her for sharing this gift with her students and with our Community.
Antoinette D., 6 years old, played for us, four songs very nicely. Then she played with Nathan two duet songs, which is really admirable to do it at her age. For her performance, she was rewarded with great applause and a “Star Pupil” pendant.
Nathan P., who graduates from High School, performed for us, on the organ very nicely. He played two Preludes and a Toccata, composed by Bach. In this Lenten Season it was fitting to play two Stations of the Cross, the tenth and the eleventh, composed by Philip Carty. Then he performed two other songs on the piano, for which he received prolonged applause.
Thanks to all who came to enjoy the beautiful music of our talented musicians. God bless the parents for providing the opportunity to develop their love of music.
The recital was followed by tasty refreshments. Thanks to all who participated in this beautiful day.
“It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praise to your name, Most High.” (Ps 2)
